I took physics 1&2 online with lab through RODP. If anyone is familiar with this, do you know if this is technically considered an online course to medical schools? Exams had to be taken on campus and on my transcript it appears as "RODP". It does not say "online" like my online psych course does for example.

Just from looking at their website
http://www.rodp.org/faculty-resources/faculty-faqs

The quality of their courses is very questionable. How did you have an online lab? And the O stands for online
Its fully accredited by the Tennessee Board of Regents. I think it's 13-18 schools/universities in Tennessee participate in RODP....kind of a confusing program but all exams are proctored and are therefore on campus, but the lab section is done through modules (definitely nothing like a chemistry lab). It doesn't have an 'O' indicating it being an online course. Even on my school website that it took it through, it was in the RODP category, not the online category....kind of confusing

Several major public universities like ETSU, MTSU, TTU, and TSU "sponsor" the RODP courses. I'm not sure how to explain it well.

Perhaps somebody from Tennessee will have more to say but if a medical school who is unfamiliar with the program were to google it, they could conclude that it's an online course. Is there a pre-med adviser at your university? If not, I recommend calling med school admissions in your state and inquire about your situation.

Another thing worth investigating is how AMCAS would classify that class.
