Hey,

I've worked as a scribe for 8-months (and accumulated 650+ clinical hours, on top of a lot of valuable experiences), and I'm planning on leaving the job now.

I'm transferring out-of-state (at a CC now) this December, so that would've forced me to leave the job anyways, but the reason I'm leaving 3 months earlier is because,
1. I'm taking ~18 credits which includes a pretty tough courseload (I know, I know, it's not THAT hard, but still, academics are the main concern).
and, 2. Because of other extra-curricular activities as well (these will be fairly time-consuming).

So my question --I had a great experience as an ER scribe, but will it look very negative to an adcom to leave after a mere 8-months (note-- I would've left after 11 months in the first place due to transferring)?

Thanks!

Why would adcoms be mad if you leave the job early to pursue academic courses and other ECs? May other people have a different opinion but i dont think you'd be stigmaticized for that

Thanks! Yeah, I certainly hope not. I guess I'm just concerned because adcoms may think I really can't handle all that much.
