So I just realized something and I need advice on what to do.

I completely didn't list one of the undergrads I attended. I'm a nontrad applicant, I went to this school over 7 years ago, and I forgot to mention it.

It's in Canada, I only stayed for about a third of a semester before injuring myself and withdrawing for medical reasons. No grades or anything. What do I do? I'm pretty much just waiting for interviews at this point, I've completed all my secondaries and everything is in.

Is this bad news bears? 😕

I suggest that you be proactive. Email AMCAS about the situation and have a transcript sent showing that you withdrew. Here is a thread about the same situation that details the OP's interactions with AMCAS. You might PM the individual and see if the situation has resolved yet: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/thr...d-in-amcas-application.1087308/#post-15506325

I just got off the phone with AMCAS, and the lady I talked to informed me that it should not be a problem because my application is already processed and verified and it was a foreign (Canadian) institution and no coursework transferred. She told me not to worry about it and just to list it if I apply again in the future.

Can I trust this? I get really paranoid sometimes after hearing some of these horror stories of students getting kicked out in their 4th year when some discrepancy arises! Lord knows I can't afford to be $200,000 in debt with no degree to show for it...any thoughts?

I don't blame you for being paranoid. Personally, I would feel better if you had it in writing, especially as AMCAS does not consider Canadian schools as "foreign". Per page 22 of the AMCAS Instruction Manual at https://www.aamc.org/students/download/182162/data/amcas_instruction_manual.pdf
How do I know if AMCAS requires an Official Transcript?
One (1) official transcript is required from each U.S., U.S. Territorial, or Canadian postsecondary
institution at which you have attempted coursework, regardless of whether
credit was earned.

Thanks for your input, I'll try to do that.

Is this system really such that if someone were to discover this somewhere down the line I could lose my license/med degree? Even after stating that I called AMCAS after realizing my error and was explicitly told not to worry about it?

If so, that is equal parts terrifying and messed up, IMHO.

You have no proof of what you were told, and AMCAS operators have given variant advice in the past. It's reassuring that the missing transcript would have zero impact on your application GPAs. Still, the language AMCAS uses when you certify your application and when it discusses "Investigations" (page 11) tends to impart concern. You will save yourself a lot of worry if you are more thorough now.
