I spelled hippocrates liek hippacraties on my amcas. how bad is that?

Depends on the context, I think. If your entire essay was about your adoration for Hippocrates and you misspelled his name every single time, then yes, I think this would carry some pretty negative consequences. Otherwise, I wouldn't sweat it too much - I think most people will overlook it. It seems most people make a minor mistake or two. I just noticed that one of my essays had the word "fact" used 2x in the same sentence, and then 4 sentences in a row had the word "learning" in them....oh well.🙄

OP, I made mistakes in several apps too but I think we'll be alright. Sure, you feel like crap after you catch the mistake and you wonder how many others you made that you didn't notice but everyone I asked who's been through this process before says that one mistake won't break you.
