How do you not like Hawaii, its Hawaii!! I think I would find it impossible to study in that setting.

Oh dont get me wrong...Hawaii itself was great....80 degrees in January was awesome. Unfortunately I felt their PBL only curriculum was lacking and that 35K a year was too much money to teach myself. I prefer a more structured lecture where I dont have to do all the research on my own.

Have agree there but Ive been told that most of the medical school education is teaching yourself. Still, it feels good to know the teacher is there to help out if needed.

Oh, I agree....a lot of on your own time...but with PBL it seemed like it was pretty much all on your own...here's a problem, go research it and come back with your conclusions...WTF...Learning from research that I may or may not understand doesnt seem to be the best way of learning...and their step I scores reflect that...89% pass rate. Thats crap.

Yeah, LECOM-erie tried to sell that PBL to me and could never see myself doing it. I don't like puzzles or color-by-number crap.

I liked the curriculum at KCUMB a lot...I wish more schools had their systems based approach. Creighton is just nice because of the whole pass/fail grading.
