I am a dentist in Australia while there is a dental section my question relates more to general cranial osteopathy. In my years of looking at true lateral Xrays I have looked at the radiographic images of the SB syphysis of many ages with lateral radiographs seeing vertical strians etc. This time however this is the first time I have seen a definite gap at the sphenobasilar radiographically 1mm plus the anatomy is true and very unlikely to be an artifact. This boy is 7 yrs old with severe ear problems could you give any general cranial osteopathic observations?
