I am retaking the 2nd semester of general chemistry lecture at a state university. The first time I took it at my original university, i received an A- in lab. However, at this state university, they require the lab in order for the transcript to indicate that it is the 2nd semester of general chemistry.
The professor told me that if I want to just take the lecture, that that was possible, but it would be under the title Chemistry 299 Special Study, not "General Chemistry 2."
So i am wondering if that would be okay for admissions to see? I figure I could write an explanation on the med school apps to explain that Chem 299 Special Study was for GChem2?
What are your thoughts?
I am aiming to apply only to the Caribbean Medical Schools.
Thank you for your responses!
