Hey - does anybody have access to the most recent list Ophthalmology Times put out ranking US residency programs? Thanks!

My advice - the ranking of the programs really only matters if you are planning to enter academia. Surgical numbers and patient visit numbers really matter if you are entering clinical practice.

The survey is very useful for its intended objective - to give the chairman's view of the reputation of the programs. This is a survey of the chairmen of the departments. Not a survey of residents' satisfaction with surgical/clinical experience or their work environment (something from which many chairmen may happen to be far removed).

But as for academic reputation - it's a great survey.
