Hiii Guys, hope everyone on the forum is having a great year🙂. I was wondering based on your opinions what are my chances of getting into RCSI or UCD for the 6 year program. As i am currently a high school student in Canada. This is what were looking at: my grade 11 marks averaged out to be 71% 🙁 which isnt that great i know. My grade 12 makrs currently are all in the 80s% including chem so far. I have over 200 hours of volunteering in total during the summer holidays for 4 years with two different hospitals and a nursing home. I gave pretty good references in the application sent. My attendance level is probably one of the best in the school. My essay was well structured based on what they wanted. I know i am not an exceptional student (i work really hard though) but being a doctor to me is what i really really really want and i tell you i would give anything to being one. It means the world to me 🙂 I really hope i get in🙁 any opinions would be great

Well, if being a Physician is what you really want, then you will become one in the future.
I understand you have applied already, best of luck. I think you will be a good candidate. Don't beat your self up if your scores are in the 70's, there is more to an applicant than junior year grades. By this, I dont mean that your academic performance does not count, it is essential to do well in school, I am simply suggesting that your improved performance along with your other supplementary achievements will make you a competetive candidate.

All the best.

I'm not sure, because I'm applying this cycle too. I just wanted to wish you :luck: and hopefully we'll both be starting in the fall.
