Hi! I have a question regarding auditing courses. Would it be worth it for an applicant to go back and audit prereq courses, like organic chemistry, if the applicant received a grade lower than a B during undergrad?
I completed a BS (gpa 3.4) and MS (gpa 3.4) in only 4 years total. I am unsure if auditing undergraduate-level classes would be necessary in my case given that I have already completed a significant amount of advanced, science, coursework. That being said, I'm well aware that my gpa is still on the low end when compared to other applicants. I am looking to take the MCAT in September so, auditing could help with content review; but, given the amount of MCAT prep resources already out there, I am unsure if there is a true benefit to auditing besides demonstrating motivation and a desire for improvement to adcoms- if they would even view it that way.
Any opinions or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
