Opinion on Research Opportunity

I recently found out I have been invited to do research at Mayo Clinic this upcoming summer as part of the Undergraduate Research Experience Program. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of the program before or has any idea if it is something that is worth pursuing.

If you are for any reason able to put the words “Mayo Clinic” in your application/ resume it is probably worth pursuing

In addition to the name recognition of doing a research program at Mayo Clinic, there is nothing Mayo Clinic loves more than... Mayo Clinic. It's not a guarantee, but Mayo loves applicants who have had substantial experiences at Mayo.
