Though I would love to apply for several schools, the cost is going to hurt my bank account greatly. So I want to condense my list a bit, maybe take out one or two. My stats are average, and I have not taken the PCAT yet (taking the August one). Any opinions would be great...thank you!

1. Creighton (my school and top choice)
2. Iowa
3. Kansas
4. Hawaii
5. Nova
6. U of Wash

not too too sure about this but I believe U of Washington is pretty tough gpa-wise?

I think Hawaii is a new school, and the general consensus seems to be that new school's are easier to get into. Plus, it's Hawaii. 😉

Iowa has a nice campus complete with a medical center too. The schools has an outstanding NAPLEX pass rate, a cool dean in Dean Kelly, and a good alumni base. I probably would have gone there had Creighton rejected me. The one bad thing about Iowa's admissions is that the adcoms aren't nearly as quick as Creighton and Wingate about decisions

haha i'm applying there too....BUT, Hilo isn't exactly Honolulu or the north shore. It's the receives an annual rainfall of 134 inches per year, by comparison, Seattle receives 142 inches per year. Also, my friend in Oahu said, "Hilo is in the middle of nowhere."

but, i'm still applying, i like rain and i like the outdoors =)

Also, I would trim U of Washington from your list. They prefer in-state applicants from what I've read/seen in statistics. Also, perhaps remove Hawaii if money is an option. Cost of living there is a bit higher.
