Optomestrist salary?

How much can an Optometrist expect to make if he/she goes to work for an Ophthalmologist? I don't need numbers, just wanna know if it would be lower or higher than commercial salary or private practice salary (Associate Optometrist).

Average in my area is roughly $105-115K. Hours are pretty good and there are definitely some solid benefits but it is still far from perfect. America's Turds pays around $105-120k in this area and private practice varies greatly from about $85-120k but you're, more often than not, a 1099.
