How come there's not a lot of Optometry schools? I know there's only 2 in California, which makes it so competitive.

If there are too many optometry schools, then that would mean there will be more optometrists out in the job market...there's enough ODs as it is, especially in urban areas.

study shows that optometry is losing over pharmacy and other health professions.. which is good for us right??? 😀 more buisness

even though there are only 2 schools in california.. it's still not that hard to get in. UCBSO yes.. SCCO no.
