Hey guys, quick search on this topic did not bring up pertinent threads on this topic. Wanted to ask - how much time do you guys actually go to the OR to do procedures (i.e. SCS, pumps, etc)? Once a week? Once a month? Never?

I suspect there will be a wide variety of answers, but wanted to get a feel for what is possible out in practice. If you guys do not go to the OR, then may I ask why? Is it due to declining reimbursements? Dec efficacy? Not enough training?

I’ve got in office fluoro and an attached ASC. No reason to go to the big house.

Do fluoro procedures in ASC.

No interest in doing big cases like the actual implant. Prefer the security of paddle leads, and feel time is better spent in clinic seeing people.

I go to one rural hospital to do LESIs without sedation in the OR with ARNP, scrub tech, fluoro tech, the works. It's really efficient as you can imagine...
