So I was working through some old problems for prep, and I found this problem.

It shows the structure(first one) and asks for the hybridization state of both oxygens.

I'm not sure of my answer. Is the resonance I drew correct? If so, wouldn't be sp2?

I drew the structures on chemdoodle and the second one is resonance THAT I DREW, was not in the problem. ONLY THE FIRST STRUCTURE WAS INCLUDED IN PROBLEM.

You are correct. Each of the oxygens has a lone pair of electrons used for pi bonding, so those are in a p orbital. That means you have 2 p orbitals left for hybridization, so sp2.
