I've read all the threads on here that say EK has everything for orgo, however, I have also read some that say the EK stuff includes extra's that's no longer on the MCAT. Is this true? If so, what is the best alternative to use for studying orgo? Also, I am having a lot of trouble retaining gen chem and physics. I studied with kaplan and understood it while I was reading it, but when I try to do it now ( a couple of months after I memorized the stuff) I can't seem to remember anything 🙁 Please help!!!

I think EK orgo is the way to go. I'm not sure if it contains extra information with regards to what we're supposed to know for the exam but if anything it probably contains the least amount of extra information out of any other test prep company (have you seen the size of the EK orgo manual?)

TBR is the best for gen chem, hands down. TBR is also good for physics; however, I'm using Nova's MCAT Physics book, which is pretty awesome as well. I would recommend TBR for gen chem and Nova's for physics. I'm not a fan of Kaplan PS material. Good luck.
