Hi everyone

I hope you all had a nice summer. This fall semester im doing organic chemistry, physics, basic psychology, and performing in two bands(wind ensemble, formed a jazz saxophone quartet). I think that physics and organic chemistry is doable. Chemistry is fun to do, but I have never taken physics before in high school. So far physics is not bad at all. I want everyone's feedback if possible on how I should take these two important courses. Thanks

yah man, you will be fine.. that isnt a crazy course load at all.. i've taken physics, chem, and bio for a whole year together and to my surprise it wasn't that tough. Just study when the tests are coming up. Good luck

I took physics and orgo together and had no problem. The tough part was when I added biochem to the mix second semester.

I took organic, physics, and calc II, and honors philosophy and worked full time.
Class from 8-1, lab from 1:30 - 5:30, work from 6-11. So it is definitely doable. The
key is time management and efficient studying.

Thanks everyone.wow it seems that you guys took a heavier course load with the combination of the two subject than I did....people in my school are calling me crazy, combining the two subjects. hahaha

Having three or more science classes/labs at once is especially suck.

You'll be fine, just don't let yourself get behind in either class, or else your life will quickly become a miserable game of catch-up!

Hey brother/sister!
I think you most difficult aspect is the music! While it is not intellectually difficult, the amount of practice time that is needed to put in for it is a Crud load!!

Other than that you have a pretty chill semester! How many units is that 13?
Good luck!

just make sure you understand the concepts behind physics and organic chem, it'll make physics alot less easier and you wont have to number crunch on that calculator to fumble to get the right answer on your exam.

also for organic, you will understand why things happen, rather than what happens. from there if you know the concepts, you will pretty much be able to reason your way through everything rather than cram each and every reaction possible.

lather, rinse, repeat.

you'll be fine!
