for number 74 on destroyer in the 2013 edition- the question is for the unknown gas at 12.0 atm press and 100 degrees C, calcite density of this gas if the molecular mass of gas is 60g/mole. Destroyer says the equation to us is p(mw)=drt

I don't remember chad teaching us this, is there another quicker way of doing this?

This is a fastest way of doing it. Plug into the formula and solve. Should take about 20 secs. Chat does not cover some things. Destroyer and Crack DAT and Kaplan do. That is why you must do problems while you study.

d = m / v

For a one mole sample the mass is 60g. Then use PV=nRT to calculate the volume of one mole of gas and then plug the mass and this volume into the formula for density.
