I got an A in Orgo I, and a B+ in Orgo II. I heard med schools weight alot on how you did in Orgo.... How bad will this hurt me? I was top in the class in Orgo I, so I have a recomendation from that professor.

whatever, I think I got a B+ in Ochem II as well.

I don't think anyone holds it against me.. I now teach the lab for the same course.

Don't sweat it, it's one class.

despite what anybody might tell you, a B+ in one semester of Orgo with an A another semester will not hurt you, it will most likely help you...thats an average of an A- and unless you have a 4.0 it wouldn't even effect your GPA....dont sweat it you're fine

Please relax, I got about 8 B's in my undergraduate, maybe more. And one B- in my orgo lab. It's not that bad, as long as you're not getting a C. Plus, in the final stage of the application process, everyone has the same numbers ultimately, I think what will ultimately set you apart are a number of things, the least of which is one grade in one class even if it's a premed req class. 🙂

There was a guy in my school that was in the same boat you are. A in Orgo I and a B+ in Orgo II. He now lives in a van down by the river.

I think you will be Okay.

A B+ is a good grade. It won't hurt you at all. You don't need straight A's to get into med school. Just very few C's.
