Got a conditional ACCEPTANCE to an MD school in November this cycle.

Yet mental health and physical health was terrible this semester and I ended up failing a course. The conditional offer doesn't mention specific grades I need to maintain ... it only says to keep "satisfactory progress" of courses that I am taking

Anyone experience this before or know someone who has? How did it end up for them?

FYI - I do not need this course as a prereq for that program. Am I screwed? will my offer be rejected?

Nothing to do but ask the school--we can speculate, but only that specific school will know their actual policies. You could either reach out now, or submit your final transcript and see if they ask you any questions.

Either way, what you really need to ask yourself is what is going to change between now and when you start the spring semester to ensure you don't have any further struggles prior to graduation?
