Hello SDN,
I have recently thought about a career in orthodontics. I wouldn't make the decision of being a general dentist or being an orthodontist until I got a little ways into dental school and saw what I really enjoyed doing, though.
Regardless, I had some questions about the orthodontist residency programs across the country...
I know that getting into ortho programs is pretty intense. It's easiest to get into programs in the place you went to dental school at, it's harder to get into shorter programs, it's harder to get into paid programs, etc...
The questions I have are:
- Is there a list of schools that offer 2 year programs?
- And, what schools offer paid residencies?
