Can anyone comment on their knowledge/experience with these programs (eg. UF)? Are they significant in application to graduate programs? Do they provide sufficient experience to competently provide (non-complex) orthodontic treatment in a GP office? Thanks for any input.

I know two people who did the UF program and then were accepted into a residency the next year. One year is not a lot of time - ortho cases are almost never that short. But Im sure you could get the hang of it enough to do easy cases.
