Wouldnt the two causes have different lab values? First aid didnt differentiate

Someone please correct this if im wrong:

Renal insufficiency: Vit D(decrease), Calcium(decrease), Phosphate (increase), PTH increase, alk phos increase, Magnesium (not sure?)

HyperPTH: PTH increase, Calcium increase, phosphate decrease, Alk phos increase, Mg(normal?)

primary hyper PTH everything you stated is correct. Not sure about Mg.
