Hey, fishing off the company dock is great. Highly encouraged.
Surely most of you have a classmate or two that you favor, someone you especially like to see walk in the room or someone you like to encounter while on the wards -- and who you'd like to know a little, um, better. If given the chance on a weekend after a flight of tough exams or something, you must admit it would be tough to resist the opportunity.
We're only human, and if you put a group of people under the stress that IS medical school for so long, it's only natural that people get together.
More on-topic -- as far as using the precepts of osteopathy to further my cause, so to speak, I have noticed that in my class the dudes who have the reputation for being highly proficient at OMM always have kind of intrigued the eligible females of the class. And as an M4, when nurses (and techs, etc) find out that I'm a DO student, they're always asking me to work on them or screen them out or whatever. Sometimes it seems more like flirting than really wanting help with an actual somatic dysfunction.
Onward and upward.
