Eh, I can't speak for everyone, but I think I believed it because I usually kinda scan posts on SDN, and usually don't assume people make fake matchlists.

Ah, gotcha...someone that wants to be board cert by ACGME maybe ranks one or two dual accreditation then jumps to the ACGME if they don't. That makes sense.

Or ranks a program in the location they want to be in and if they don't get it rank allo programs in the same location. There are a lot of different reasons.
