Is the school Worcester Polytechnic Institute? I saw several TV commercials for that school a little while ago. From what I remember, they were describing historical events in science and engineering and saying "WPI was there" or something like that.

yes, WPI. I still hate those stupid commercials and cringe everytime I see them, but I can't deny that they did help the school.
