Out of curiosity I looked up the AOA match results this year and there were 2/15 PM&R spots unfilled. Anyone know where?
Also does anyone know anything about the two new LECOM rehab programs? Any early reviews or news?

Saw that too. The 2 unfilled spots are with Nassau (NY). I was wondering if they are waiting to fill them in the ACGME match.

I have heard that they will just convert them over to ACGME. Crazy. It looks like unless an ACGME program makes a mistake by not ranking enough candidates that there will be a 100% fill for both AOA and ACGME.

BTW...here is all the information online that I can find about each of the four AOA-specific programs (not including MSU and Nassau):

Casa Colina Rehabilitation
-Located in So Cal
-No website for program. There is a website for the rehab hospital, but it looks like something I put together as a middle schooler on Angelfire.
-68 bed hospital that is about 90% filled.
-Advanced program with 3 spots per year.
-Salary: PGY2- $46500, PGY3- $48500, PGY4- $50500
-Vacation days per year: 20

Larkin
-Located in South Miami
-Website available with limited information.
-60 bed inpatient hospital
-Advanced program with 8 spots per year.
-5 year continued accreditation
-20 interviews given last year
-Call schedule: PGY2- q4, PGY3- q7, PGY4- q10
-Hour of didactics per week: 6
-Salary: PGY2- $43000, PGY3- $44000, PGY4- 45000
-Vacation days per year: 20
-6 affiliated hospitals


LECOMT/Mercy Medical Center
-Located in Long Island
-37 bed inpatient unit
-Rotate between three hospitals
-Outpatient is focused on OMT, Interventional pain, pain med, ultrasound guided injections, EMG, spasticity management.
-Advanced program with 3 spots per year.
-Call schedule: PGY-2- q4, PGY-3- q5, PGY-4- q6
-Hour of didactics per week: 7
-Salary: PGY-2- $55250, PGY-3- $57250, PGY-4- $59250
-Vacation days per year: 20
-Opportunities for both 3rd and 4th year rotations

LECOMT/UH Regional
-Located in Cleveland area
-No information on number of inpatient beds
-Advanced program with 2 spots per year.
-Hour of didactics per week: 7
-$1000/year educations stipend
-Salary: PGY2- $53550, PGY3- $55080, PGY4- $57000
-Vacation days per year: 20
-Opportunities for both 3rd and 4th year rotations
