Lindsey called today. My heart started racing, but I was suspicious that it's too early in the week for interview calls. She just had a question. She said they are reviewing Bridge Program applicants right now, but she doesn't know when they'll get around to calling because they're really busy.

I was just accepted at OU-COM; thanks to all of you for the kind words and support, but an acceptance is much better than my status as a waitlisted applicant at OSU. I hope all of you get in!

Got a call today from Sarah for a Bridge Program interview next Wednesday!!!!

My phone went dead, and I am not at home (bad time for that). I started thinkin "what if" they try and call today? I noticed (minutes before she called) my mom's phone has the same charger! Talk about impeccable timing!

I just got the call early this morning for an interview for the Bridge Program. I confirmed my date for April 1st, but I might call to deny it if I get an acceptance from VCOM beforehand....

Engr2Doc, I'm an out of state student myself so the odds of you getting a call is highly probably too.

Good luck to you guys. I was in last year's topic when Saylorsdad got in through the bridge program. He said it was like "winning the lottery". After seven total attempts at getting into medical school over five years, I'd have to say that it does feel a bit like it

Hey, just curious, but how did the NRMP match go for those who decided to enter it?!

Went really well. They haven't got around to passing us the stats but i think it was near 88% match and out of the 12% that didnt, 10% purposely didn't because they were delaying for the allopathic match. the 2% scrambled and got placed. Numbers aren't exact, but it all went well.

I interviewed on the Jan. 26th and Now have an interview for the bridge on the 30th. Does anyone know how many bridge interview dates there will be?

They called the 16th. I was just curious how many they interviewed for the 9 spots.

I think last year they interviewed around 30. I received a call from Lindsey about 2 weeks ago encouraging me to fill out the bridge application because she thought I would be a good candidate. I still haven't gotten an interview invite though 🙁

Yes, I interviewed on January 27 and I am currently on the waitlist. I hope they haven't called everyone they plan on interviewing. I mean, why would they call someone and tell them to fill out a bridge application when they weren't really serious about offering them an interview.

I'm not sure. But, Lindsey did make it clear that not everyone who applied received an interview. I think she was just saying, you're not guaranteed an interview just because I'm calling you. Maybe they haven't called for another round of interviews? If they normally interview 30, then the 30th and 31st dates would only be about 16 interviewees.

Evidently, They are interviewing on April 1st also. They only offered me the 30th or 31st so I assume the April 1st interview date is full.

They offered me the dates of the March 28, 30, and April 1st...so I'm assuming I was one of the first people they called on march 16th because my friend was only offered an interview date the next day for only the 30th....sorry if anyone didn't receive a bridge invite yet, stay positive cuz things happen sudden that may favor you...

'Nother OOS WL'er here. Haven't heard anything hear. This'll most likely be my last week on the WL, not expecting to hear from them this week and my wife is already getting job interviews at my second choice school. So that'll be one less OOS person you'll have to conted with. GL!

Its not if, its when. You will see a decent amount of movement in May when the final date for deposit refund arrives and people are forced to make up their minds and therefore withdraw from schools.

No. I was led to previously believe the final wait list was ranked, but apparently its not (as so rumors lead at the moment). Either way, your only told if you make it on to the waitlist, not where you are (should it be ranked).
