Does anyone know how many people are on the wait list at OSU-COM and what are the odds of being accepted from the waitlist?

They won't tell you how many people are on the waitlist. Also, they claim the waitlist is not ranked.

I've heard that approximately 50% of the incoming class comes from the waitlist. I guess it just depends on how many initially accepted people decide to go to OSU.

GOOD LUCK guys.

Has there been any recent movement on the waitlist?

Considering that interviews have been ongoing through this week, I'm certain that there has been some "movement." At the very least, people are being added to the list.

In addition, if candidates currently on the waitlist are seen as better candidates than the newly interviewed students, it might be possible that current waitlist members are added to the acceptances, and new interviewees replace these people on the waitlist.

There's really no way to tell how many people this will affect.

If you are on the final waitlist (received a letter Saturday) do you think the odds are good to get in for this year?

There still is movement over the summer, so don't lose hope. Can't tell you any odds, though...just that people are taken off of the waitlist each summer all the way up to orientation.

Thanks. It's hard to know what to do. Do I sign a lease for my next undergrad school year? What do I tell my roommate? What do I tell my employer for my part-time job? It's frustrating having your life on hold.
