OSU vs. Rutgers ---> OSU!

i just got into Rutgers off waitlist and have been committed to ohio state since december 1st.

i have never never seen a thread comparing these two. NOT considering cost what does everyone think about the two programs? i can get instate tuition at either school. i know things can change but i am really interested in specialization as well. i have a pros/cons list but am still undecided so any help would be appreciated!

I see that you went to the MBS program at Rutgers. If it was me I would definitely stay there. They specifically cover 1st year material from Rutgers in the MBS program, so the first year would be easier. Also you'll have had more time to get to know professors which will lead to a better letter of recommendation for specializing. You wouldn't have to move which is a big plus. Both Ohio State and Rutgers have good reputations for specializing, so I wouldn't worry about that. Unfortunately, I didn't even get an interview invite to Rutgers. I'm jealous.

I am a big fan of Ohio St. but I would go with the cheaper option after looking at living expenses, instate tuition at both schools, and other expenses. Good luck with your decision! Both are great schools 🙂 Congrats!
