OSUCOM Acceptance for November 14th Interviews

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Most everyone I know got waitlisted ... i have only heard of one acceptance from the handful of people and I know of a few rejections as well.

If you got accepted, start an OSUCOM thread in the osteo class threads!

why is everyone waitlisted? i don tunderstand...are they extra picky for some reason?

A waitlist at OSU isn't a bad thing. About half of every entering class spent some time on the waitlist. Hang in there.

Yeah, yeah, but I would think that the first round would be a lot more acceptances. :scared:

I find out on mine next week. For me, OSU waitlist = $1000 down the drain to hold my seat at another med school just in case. 🙁 I'm sure others are in the same situation.

Yeah I know a few others in that boat. But seriously, its a drop in the bucket on your way to med school and if you do get into OSU- you'll be saving in tuition then well over $1000 😀

:luck:

I know, I know. That's all well and good, but it doesn't pay the bills. I guess I'll have to put off seeing the dentist for another year just to feed my kids. I hope dental technology is really advanced by the time I finally get to see one.

$100 if everything goes right. :scared:

Just one of countless examples of the difference a "drop in the bucket" can make to a starving grad student with a family to support.

don't listen to her, I didn't get a teeth cleaned during my first 2 years and no one said a thing. but I didn't date much either, but I'm sure those 2 things are in no way connected.

I was in on the Nov. 14th interviews also and was waitlisted. I had a friend interview on the 16th and he was also waitlisted. I also know of a couple of outright denials. I only know of one acceptance. I think that was medicineman. Don't worry we will all know something at some time. I know it sucks if you've had to drop coin elsewhere.
