Samsung Galaxy S3 or Note 2 if you can afford it.

HTC One or One X or One X+ if you like HTC phones.

Samsung must be the new Apple of phones, a bunch of people at the hospital were telling me how awesome Samsung is today.

Samsung has really stepped up as being a quality alternative to Apple. My next computer is probably going to be a Samsung Series 7 Chronos.

I see people with either a Samsung phone or an iPhone, most of the time.

From what I notice, people with iPhones like having a relatively simple smartphone.

So when you consider going to ASHP Annual meetings in the fall, is it just for people who are applying that year (except for P1-P3 who are interested)? What if you were applying a little later but weren't sure if you could make it to future meetings? Would you get weird looks?

How do you guys deal with friends moving to other states (possibly across the country) when you're not sure if you'll be stuck in your home state or have an opportunity to move?

Fun time at work yesterday. Our network went down (and I mean hard down) around 6:00... just as every other pharmacy in Little Rock was closing. Couldn't even scan/enter scripts, much less submit for adjudication. We were left to just stack new scripts in a pile and promise to call people once our systems came back up.

Talk about pucker factor.

Thankfully, the outage only lasted about 30 minutes... but what a long 30 minutes it was.

Yikes that is never fun.

Has anyone visited the new SDN CAM forums? What an embarrassment. There have been BIG behind the scenes arguments about it. We even one lost of our long time admins over it.

What sucked was that we couldn't do central searches for patients that fill at other locations, and had to create new profiles for them - it just clutters up the pt database and makes it difficult to fill scripts later on.

Oh yes multiple profiles suck hard. I merge whenever I can, but who has time for that?

A summary of the last two weeks of my life:
QmaUaLZ.gif

Bioshock Infinite has done to me what Franklin BBQ did to barbecue. Made everything else look like crap.

I haven't even finished Bioshock 2 yet. I always have a hard time with the raid that comes while the LS is collecting Adam from dead zombies.

first paycheck: I'm wasting all my paycheck money before I even get one, lol. Mexico, then Hawaii and moving to a nicer apartment.

Once I actually start receiving paychecks I'll probably get sucked back into a work-->eat-->sleep-->repeat routine.

I am all for fiscal responsibility but I really feel like you have to do something nice to reward yourself before settling in to be a debt slave. 😉

I don't plan to have have other commitments that require a significant portion of my finances (new house, new car, etc) for a while. But I don't know for sure at this point.

Somehow, I've gone from dreaming about buying a bitchin' hot car, to saving for a house?!

Wimmin....they change a man.

This is what I've seen with my classmates. All the married/permanently attached people are rushing out to buy houses, everyone else is either buying sporty cars or going on crazy vacations.

The married people I know are still living in apartments, and I don't think they're in a hurry to buy houses. Maybe you guys know different types of married couples.
