Does anyone know of a website or form that compares that tuition costs of various OT programs? I feel like I've seen one linked on the forum before, but I tried searching for it and am not coming across anything. I might be wrong about this though. Even if one hasn't been mentioned here before, I would love to see something that compared OT tuition fees, so if you can find one, please let me know. Thanks!

I've been digging through school websites and think costs are frequently well-hidden. The people running the OT programs have little to do with tuition costs and year to year rate hikes. Unfortunately out of state tuition rates are even more hidden and students don't realize that in many states it is impossible to change out of state residency.

I'm in a similar predicament as there is only one AOTA accredited school in my state so if I don't get in there I may need to start considering schools out of state. The potential cost can be quite substantial as you not only need to consider the higher tuition costs, but also the costs associated with accommodation and other living expenses. Getting accurate assessments of such costs is quite tricky, but If you can get in somewhere in-state I would suggest you try your best to do so otherwise the cost of your MOT could potentially double or in some cases even exceed that.

On a side note, private colleges don't tend to discriminate between in-state and out-of-state tuition. However, the caveat is that tuition at private universities tend to be quite high overall, especially in comparison to state schools.
