They've floated that idea for a while. The same rich asses that own the Raptors have wanted one for a while, I believe. The real question is - will Canada allow it? They have a hard on for restricting American "influence." Hence you can't get ESPN over yonder. I had to watch the Big East Tournament on ESPN3 in a crappy ass internet cafe last March because of that bull****.
That being said, I still have the whole "Same Old Jets" on the back of my mind. Until Mark Sanchez, Santonio Holmes and the rest of Gang Green are hoisting the Lombardi trophy marching down Broadway, I will still have that pessimism lurking.

Yeah because we know that the Jets, Mets and Islanders are the everyones favorite teams in NY.
Its kindof funny because in the NFL, there is only one team that actually plays in the state of NY.

What we need is for Wilson to get rid of the team and he's not doing that until he dies. Then if it stays in Buffalo, we'll need a front office that likes to spend money and actually want a winning football team, not just a income source. Who knows if it moves to TO, I could really care less because football is really not my thing. They are definitely not doing great publicity wise, we've had like 4 blackouts this year which I don't think has ever happened before.
As long as the Sabres hang around I'm happy and the Bills will be relevant again BEFORE Touro is considered a good school I just don't know if it'll be in Buffalo.

True, but there are two teams that play in "Greater New York". Honestly, instead of tearing down Shea Stadium, they should have just let the Jets move in over there or they could have built an arena for them in Long Island, plenty of space to do it.

The bills also have made the playoffs more times, won more divisional and conference championships then the Jets. Despite not winning the Super Bowl yet, they have as many league championships as the Jets whose last appearance in the Super Bowl was 1968.
The rangers can't buy a Stanley Cup to save their lives. For 40 years they had a 1 in 6 chance of winning the cup. They won it only 3 times during that span. In the modern era they've won just one despite having one of the highest payrolls in the league every year. How's Chris Drury doing by the way? Maybe Brian Cashman should help the rangers out picking free agents.

To me, the best thing about being a Bills fan is not being disappointed when they lose, and being ecstatic when they win. The bar is set so low that any loss is expected, and a win is real cause for celebration.
And if I was Ralph Wilson, I'd hate to have that stadium named after myself; so much fail hinging on a single name. At least spread the blame by making it Buffalo Field or Bills Stadium.
