Hello,

Are there any OTA's out there who are pursuing their OT degree? I am interested in your perspective on how hard OTA school was compared to OT school. Do you think it was worth it getting your OTA certification?

OTA school wasn't hard considering I had just taken Chem, Bio, Physics, and A&P.

I am in Stony Brook's OTA to OT track. There are challenges but working in the field makes it easier.

10 years ago, pre-reqs were harder than they are now for OT programs.
All I can say is that it's working out but go for the OTR before the COTA if you can.
