Hello All!
I have this confusing question about OTCAS and applying and I was wondering if anyone might have an answer.
So as probably many of you have noticed, there are several schools that require an "Intro To Sociology" prerequisite. I have not taken this course, but if I were to get accepted into a program that required it I would plan to take it in the Winter or Spring. However, if I got accepted into a program that did not require it - I wouldn't bother taking it.
I know on OTCAS you can add courses for "planning/in progress" - So for me since taking this course depends on the circumstances, should I add it in planning/in progress or leave it out? I wouldn't want schools that don't require it to accept me thinking I was planning on taking it, but I also don't want schools that DO require it to think I wasn't planning on taking it if I left it out.
Does anyone know what I should do? It's a very complicated situation to explain - I was going to email specific schools that require it, but I don't want them to think I wouldn't pick their program because they require it, or I didn't want to confuse them trying to explain.
