Hi everyone! So I plan on applying soon after I take the GRE and I had a few questions if anyone can help!

1. Do I need to wait until the OTCAS receives my transcripts to submit my application?

2. How long does it take for your LOR person to receive the email? Is it immediately? This has to be completed before the application is submitted so I wasn't sure how the LOR works.

3. Currently, I am a COTA/L and applying to both bridge programs and traditional programs. However, all of my observations were done during FW 1 and 2 which I do not have documentation of them anymore. Do we absolutely NEED to have a documentation of observations? Do I just include my work experience? Kind of confused on this part since I am a COTA working in the field already.

4. As for remaining pre-req courses, is there an option to choose that I will be taking them at a later time?

Yes, you need to wait till your transcripts are verified before submitting the application. Programs aren’t interested in you without a grade history to view.

You can insert pre-reqs under the colleges you plan to take them at. Just select the course and a future date, to indicate when you plan on taking them.

Not sure about your experiences. Some programs have a verification form separate that they want you to upload into the forms section. You will have to ask each program what they prefer. If no preference, then just add the experience with the dates.

The LOR request is immediate. If they don’t see it in their inbox, then they should check spam. You can always request to send it again. Also, this is one thing that does not have to be completed before you submit an application. They can upload the LOR after you submitted; but the school might pull the application and request it.
