I am preparing to apply to the MOT program at UTMB and a few more schools when the app opens July 17 but I have a few questions regarding the app! I currently have 37 observation hours in 2 different settings but in the process of getting more...
1) How does documenting observation hours work on OTCAS? Can they be updated or do they need to be finished when you submit?
2) Also, I am currently studying for the GRE and planning to take it soon. Are the GRE scores required when you submit? How long does it typically take to receive scores back from the GRE?

I'm a first time applicant so any advice/tips would be wonderful! I have read many helpful tips so far!

The only thing that can be updated on OTCAS after you submit your application is your classes (you can update that during the "academic update " in December) you can't change classes/grades already submitted though. You can only add new classes and grades.

You should ask schools if they require your scores to be on OTCAS or if you can send the official scores directly to them. You can submit your OTCAS application without GRE scores but some schools may not look at official scores and only look at the scores on your application (this is rare, but it does happen).

And it takes about 3-4 weeks for scores to be sent to schools so plan accordingly.
