I have 2 questions if anyone could help. Thanks!

1) Since I guess people have been saying OT hours are going off the honor system (frustrating!) and we are supposed to upload a document, What are we supposed to upload? I mean some of my locations have hour logs but most of them don't. Any ideas? .... I'm also not sure if it is even required or just for the schools that have personalized request papers

2) For the letters of reference, what are you writing in the personal message. It is seen by the reference and the schools. I am not sure if it is an explanation on how we know the individual or a thank you to the individual or why it is even necessary

I just thanked my evaluators and discussed the deadlines. I gave them one deadline and said that it was the preferred date, but my final deadline (just one I personally set) was ten days later.

Granted, at the time I had no idea that it was sent to the schools. It actually makes me upset that that wasn't communicated ahead of time.

There is no document to upload for observation hours for OTCAS.

There a section called documents under supporting information section. I just made my own document and will have OTs sign it to confirm my hours.

I think most OTs would be glad to help as long as you are organized. I would give all the supporting documents to all the schools you are applying to once. I would avoid asking the OT for a LOR one week, then volunteer hours the next week, and so on. Doing it ahead of time should also lessen the burden on them.
