Would anyone who has been awarded a scholarship with their admission to a private school be willing to share their stats and what school offered the scholarship?

Especially anybody going to Belmont, Pacific or UPS?

I'm interested in these programs, but my finances are limited. I'm wondering if it's even worth it to apply, compared to public schools in my state.

I was offered a scholarship at UPS, but only after other people declined. Offered a lesser amount fellowship first, and then the largest amount fellowship about a week later (this happened in the end of March -- accepted to program mid February). The largest amount fellowship makes UPS tuition only about $6,000 more than UW (in-state) tuition for the first year, the lesser amount fellowship I was offered first made UPS about $13,000 more, with no fellowship UPS is about $21,000 more.

Overall GPA is 3.86, Pre-Req is 3.96
GRE: V - 153 Q - 155 A - 4.5
60 hours of OT observation (50 adult, 10 kids), lots of other Rehab work experience

The letter they gave me mentioned academic record, pre-professional and professional experience, and quality of writing.

Here is there website about it: http://www.pugetsound.edu/admission...cupational-therapy/fellowships--scholarships/

It was defiantly worth it for me to apply to UPS because I didn't get into UW and paying an extra $6,000 dollars a year is worth it to me to not have to wait a year (or more) to start grad school. I also think that UPS is an awesome program and I am happy that I am going there!

Thank you for responding. My GPA and observation hours should (hopefully) be similar to yours by the time I apply, so that gives me hope. I wonder if this sort of scholarship is unique to UPS?
