My Bio. req. in my school is one semester of Botany and one semester of Zoology. Other than the Bio. minimum, what other Biology classes should I take to get ready for the MCAT?

Taking physiology would be quite helpful. Biochemistry is another course that comes into mind. Genetics, molecular biology are yet others. These courses would supplement your basic biology knowledge. However, it is not necessary to take these courses to excel in MCAT.

Botany will almost invariably not fulfill the bio requirement for medical school. So take a class that will fulfill it.

Maybe I read your post incorrectly, but I believe you need the botany and zoology in addition to Introductory biology I and II.

At least that is how my school is. Intro biology I and II are required for medical school.

I would agree with audeo, take Physiology before the MCAT. It is a wonderful class. My school lists it as Animal Physiology, but it was all human stuff. I learned soooooo much in that class. It really helped me on the MCAT.

I also took genetics, immunology,
bacteriology and microbiology before the MCAT. Any class you take should help slightly. maybe one passage per class. Good luck 😎 😎
