I am a premed who's interested in surgery and have begun to think about what kind of surgical specialties I may be interested in. Though I have observed some orthopedic surgery with a doctor friend, I have recently thought about taking an interest in otolaryngology, mostly because I am a vocalist myself and can sympathize.
Anyway, I have done very little research on the topic and should look at shadowing an ENT or two, but how specific can ENT's be with their specialties? What if my dream is to become "the voice guy"? Are there people that subspecialise in something that specific?
