hi all, is anyone here as a current medical student going to OUHSC( University of OKlahoma Health Science Center)? Just wondering what orientation there is like. Is it one day, or a few days, or what?

It was 5 full days this year, in previous years it was only 2 or three days. Every day is professional dress (tie required), and it is really boring.

Orientation is a week long, although I have heard unconfirmed rumors it may be getting shortened. You get dressed up and sit through a LOT of talks about life in medical school. No skipping, though, it is a class! And yes, it is excruciatingly boring. My least favorite week of medical school so far.
