out of state for texas schools

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Ok, so I gave my cat to my parents so they could keep her for awhile till I got moved in and could find a place for her. Less than a week later, they were tired of it...apparently she scratches stuff (really??🙄). They called and were going to give her to a shelter in E Tx. I convinced them to at least let me check it out. So I got on their website and it was a really good place. No euthanasia, seemed high quality and with good adoption screening, so I caved in and let them do it. Forward to tonight, when I get back on to see if they've posted my cat yet....turns out it was a different shelter with the same name (even their links on Petfinder.com are mixed up). The real one is basically animal control and according to their policy she has less than 10 days to find a home before she's killed.

I grew up partly in the country, and have seen animals die violently, and certainly when I worked at my shelter I saw euthansias done, but its still a little different when its your pet on the line.

Noooooo!! Go get her!!! 🙁

Oh dear dd... you must have missed like a page then . I'm living in a house behind the hospital (in a neighborhood known as the white coat ghetto) w/ a girl in my class.

hee hee 😉

haha, my bad, yeah I think I remember something about that...😕

Good luck in da hood 😛

The brain was the best part of lab for me. It was also kinda funny how over time the division of labor at the tank drifted toward traditional gender roles...the guys would handle the body flipping and blunt/brute force stuff, and the ladies concentrated on the more detail-oriented tasks. Yours truly showed some skill with the hammer and chisel...poppin' the skull cap and the brain out in no time.

haha, yeah samething here. We have one girl in our tank group and she tends to just stand by looking like she's trying not to vomit when we start doing things like sawing and chisseling

So lacrosse, ever find out where you're going to be living 😛

Oh and we're going to the astros game tonight, it'll be my first trip out to minute maid stadium...

GO GET THE CAT!!!! I'll take him if nothing else.🙄 There are a bunch of cats around my yard... Get the cat declawed if he scratches. It works, and does not hinder the cat's ability to do anything. I once saw my old cat (now dead) climb 20 ft straight up a tree with no front claws.😱

Day 1 was long and really kind of boring. Lots of breaks that were not really needed - could have been much shorter of a day. They took my computer about noon yesterday to sprinkle holy water on it, or whatever they do, and I didn't get it back until about an hour ago.😕 It seems to be ok, though. Other people are having fits with theirs.

I am definitely the oldest one in Temple, and seem to be the only mom, but 1/3 of the class is married, and probably an equal portion is non-trad in some sense. So far, so good.🙂

I did NOT sleep Sunday night, and neither did anyone else.🙁 At least they've fed us fairly well. One weird thing is that since we have feeds going between College Station and Temple (about 75% of stuff comes from CS), we can't even have our phones on - they create interference even without ringing. The whole feed thing is pretty cool, but it's going to take some getting used to. Big Brother is watching us all the time, and if we want to ask a question, a camera zooms in on us and shows up on the screen in both cities.

Bump bump bump...

How is everyone? Today I made this reaaaaally cute present for my boyfriend for his graduation party (I got bored of being sick and just laying in bed... so I'm being sick and crafty 🙄). I bought a 12x12 frame which is the size of a scrapbook page and then I made a page of pictures w/ me and him and its so cute... er, manly. 😛

Sleep time I suppose... need to kick this fever!

Feeling better? All the stress weakening the ol' immune system? I talked to the shelter yesterday, and they say my cat will go fast since she's spayed, microchipped, and just a quality cat overall. How'd "the talk" go with the dude?

What's with the stripes on the moderators' symbols? I think cpa has followed dd off into the quicksand.

Feeling a bit better, yeah. Had a similar thing a few weeks ago and the nurse said it was a virus, yet a nurse gave me a Z-pac this time... I'm like uh, virus? Antibiotic? Whatever. This fever just won't seem to totally go away.

Ha. The talk. It was okay. I told him one of my main reasons for not wanting to have him move there was because I thought it would be selfish of me. You know, move there 4 years, then who knows for a few years, then who knows... that would be hard for me to do if the tables were turned. But he said it didn't matter to him, so we'll see how it goes after 1st year.

I think the mods have stripes for All4MyDaughter... her daughter was killed in a hit and run accident, so I was thinking the stripes were in memory of her? It's awful and my heart goes out to her and her family... have you read any about it?

When do you start kudu? Am I going to be the last into the quicksand or are you?

Haha...so he's moving to Rochacha?? Interesting. Is your brother helping you move?

Yeah after I posted I put 2 and 2 together....gave my condolences soon after the story broke, how sad...and freakish really.

I believe orientation starts the 19th and classes the 25th, of course I'm going to skip as much of orientation as possible...ie nearly all of it hee hee.

Oh yeah, you gotta check out my "partial video of adcom meeting" thread. I found a nugget while cruising youtube...hopefully the apper's this cycle can take something useful from it.

Hope you feel better 🙂 At least you're getting sick now, and maybe getting it out of the way before school starts...unless you just get sick now, and then too  Wash your hands a lot young lady!

I'm still here! Quicksand isn't so bad yet. My work ethic isn't as strong considering that nothing really counts. Not to mention they give us a lot of stuff to do outside of school that takes away from studying time, we had an astros game day before yesterday, and a dinner tonight at some doctors house to introduce us to faculty and what not. Should be pretty interesting 👍 Next week is our block test and then that is it unitl school really starts :scared: haha, though I'm not so nervous having been through a lot of the crap already.

I was the only one who posted for two days!! What quicksand?

I'm back in San Antonio until tomorrow, then it's off to College Station for the dean's dinner and the White Coat ceremony. We don't get Astros tickets or anything.

Orientation was actually kind of slow...picked up speed yesterday. Hear the analogy about drinking from a fire hose about 10 times. Absolutely nothing about A&M; we didn't even get tours of the campus. It would've been helpful, since some of us (well, almost all of us in Temple) actually only visited Scott & White once, a year ago, on our interviews. Every campus kind of ran together, and no one was really even sure where the anatomy lab is. They showed us a map. Tomorrow we have to go to CS, and people were asking where it is!

I'm the oldest one in Temple (big surprise!), and the only mom. I'm feeling the need to bake cookies for Monday...

there's a very nice woman in pre-entry who has made cookies a few times, she actually made some today 😀 Trust me you will be every one's best friend 👍

Haha...so he's moving to Rochacha?? Interesting. Is your brother helping you move?

He's not moving as of yet... he's going to be in St. Louis for awhile. Which I think will be good... let me get acclimated and what not. Not sure if he will move... we'll have to wait that one out.

Lacrosse's parents: "Lacrosse's brother, do you want to help lacrosse move or go to her white coat ceremony?"

Brother: "I'll go to graduation." 🙄

Went to urgent care tonight cause I felt awful. They think I have a virus and just need to rest. I had to get a mono test... (since I'm obviously a high schooler) but that was obviously negative. The doc was a bit rude and I definitely walked out of that room thinking "man I hope I'm not like that." My mom was telling her that they are taking me to school on Sunday and was hoping I would get well before I start school... the doc was like well I don't know what to tell you. And my mom was like and she'll be far away in NY and the doc goes "Well, there are doctors there too."

REALLY???? What a concept. I think someone's bitter about her full time job at the urgent care...

And I hate when doctors belittle patients. I told her my doc gave me zitrhomax even though I thought I had a virus and she goes well antibiotics don't work for viruses. No s*it lady, I just pretty much said that.

/rant. Maybe I'm just mad because no one talks to my momma like that!

Where do they do that retreat thing?

Yeah, but 39 and i hijacked another thread briefly before mercifully releasing it back into the wild...

Yep ,the firehose. You're gonna get used to hearing "high-yield" a lot too😉.

Ah man, I'd put money on you getting tagged with "mother goose" before the end of the first month.

Lacrosse's parents: "Lacrosse's brother, do you want to help lacrosse move or go to her white coat ceremony?"

Dude, you're the eldest...you need to put the smackdown on "its still cool not to care" slacker boi.

Yo momma's so fat....

Actually, he's the oldest! He's 24 and a fellow Mizzou grad from '06. He's a commercial real estate agent and apparently he thinks he's big time since he won't take off work.

See, the "so fat" jokes just don't seem to have the same one two punch when you tell them... because EVERYONE is fat compared to you.

So I might be following in cpa's footsteps... someone might want my MCAT books I put on Craigslist!

Oh, and kudu and I totally hijacked that thread for a few posts... and it was hilarious... to us at least 🙄

Well, I'm off to College Station in a few minutes for the Dean's Dinner and White Coat. I'm dragging the son along, kicking and screaming. Three hours in the car with a teenager who doesn't want to go...now that's my idea of fun!🙄 Maybe I should take him to the Dixie Chicken tonight.

Good luck with the books, lacrosse, but you might do better with them on eBay. My examkrackers went for like 80% of what I paid for them. Also, I feel for you. I'm the youngest of 3, and my brothers have never attended a single significant event in my life, including my wedding.🙁 There were some geographic challenges, but still. Oh, and my parents aren't coming to the White Coat because they're still off in Europe somewhere...Romania or some such.

Well, I got one of my books for free and then I'm selling my books from class which I have no idea what would cost. But I'm getting 75 bucks for them! They are out of my life tonight!

Have fun in CS! And take lots of pictures of you w/ your new coat!

Where do they do that retreat thing?

Not entirely sure. I just signed up the other day (95 bucks 👎) and have yet to look into the details. Pretty close by I think. I'm looking forward to it, everyone has a blast from what I hear.

I hate that crap. I hereby give you all permission to kick the crap out of me if I were to ever end up like that 😛

HAHAHAHAHA! Ok, I usually see skinny jokes coming from afar, but you got me good with that one...bravissimo!

Has our wittle 39 had her ticken toop today? Hmmmm?

So I had to read "ticken toop" out loud to figure it out..

hee hee.. 75 bucks now in my pocket! I was trying to make small talk and so I asked when he was planning on taking the test, and he never really answered but just said that he had taken the written one before but didn't do well because he had a "107 degree fever"... isn't that like... death?? 😕

It is sooooooooo hot here today. My roommates dad was talking to my dad and said it actually reached 90 degrees in Rochester yesterday... therefore, no snow. 🙄

You are sick, its for real. Might also explain your apparent immunity to my rickroll attempt earlier...everyone falls for my rickrolls....everyone. Just ask cpa🙂.

Only time I think I've seen a fever like that was in an ED I was volunteering in. They wheeled some guy into a room across from me and his temp was high like that. They thought it might be bacterial menningitis. They put a paper on the door and everybody who entered had to sign it. I think they had to report it to the cdc.:scared:

My roommates dad was talking to my dad and said it actually reached 90 degrees in Rochester yesterday... therefore, no snow. 🙄

Ahhh....they're turning up the thermostat just for you! How sweet.

Got my FA check yesterday...didn't expect it so soon.

And where was this? I didn't know what a rickroll till SDN. I thought a rickroll involved some type of link as a bait...

Hmm wonder if mine will be at school. I went through the Access Group... and afterwards, I'm not so sure I should have  I sent my promissary note to Roch and a few weeks later I got a call from the Access Group. I called them back and talked to some dude that asked me about 10 questions to make sure it was me, and then when confirmed that, he was like "Um, let me see why they wanted you to call..." He comes back to the phone and says "What school are you attending?".... seriously? Didn't you get info FROM my school??

The next day, I got another call from them again and it was the lady who originally called. She goes, "What school are you attending?" And I said "I just went through this yesterday." And she was like "Oh... well I don't see that anywhere..." So I said "University of Rochester School of Medicine" and no joke, she goes "So will you be an undergrad? law student?"

Yes, m'am. I will be attending the School of Medicine as a law student. 🙄

Ah man, you were ripe for the picking. Oh well...how could you have missed this: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=549823

Over 1100 hits in less than 2 days. I loved the guy who wanted me banned haha.

Ok, what's the Access Group? I jsut deal with Direct Loan (the feds). I guess your loan amounts are well above those limits though.

Make sure he doesn't play a prank on the Dean haha. Its nice to put on the coat...people do look at you differently. Do they have anything embroidered or patched onto it?

Our coats have the A&M COM patch on them, and they said something about sending them off this week to get them embroidered. It's also alumni weekend, and the alumni were invited to "sponsor" a whitecoat, i.e. buy one for us...but we had to buy them for ourselves, so are they going to cut us all a check or something?😕

The dinner this evening was no big deal. Fajitas, a band that was playing so loudly you couldn't talk across the table kind of thing. The dean came around to all the tables and welcomed everyone. At our table, he stood between my son and an M1, and welcomed them to the College of Medicine. Later, during the tour, the M2 kind of waved in my general direction and said the parents could go in there too!!

The tour was great for my son - he got to see the CS anatomy lab and the sim center. He thought that part was pretty cool. He also approved of my hotel choice, but he had his nose in a book half the way here, then took a nap!😴

Google maps let me down, though...sent me down a tiny little road (complete with one lane bridge) that ended up being closed 4 miles down the road. I had to call my husband for help. Turns out I should've just stayed on the road I had been on...grrrr...Oh, well, we got here.

Ohhhh when you talked about the adcom meeting. Well, I knew you were full of it and didn't even look at it till now

Access Group is just a lender. Direct Loan? Interesting. Maybe I should have done that... I'm only taking out a 8,500 buck subsidized loan (My bank account will be crying soon).

EDIT: Just read that thread you made... awesome is the only word that comes to mind. So hilarious. And the guy that wanted you to be banned is too funny... rick rolling is so not trolling. Oh, and when exi posted that link, he soooo shoulda made it another rick roll... exi, what were you thinking?? hahaha bravo to kudu (esp. for tricking cpa 😉)

EDIT 2: Bumped it for you hahahaha

Yeah google maps aren't worth much. Even mapquest has let me down on more than one occasion. 👎 Can't wait for the iphone! 🙂

That iPhone better have a monster battery... cause I have a feeling you will be playing with it all the time.

I've got a Garmin since I will no doubt be lost in Roch. I was playing w/ it in Columbia when I first got it, and then I turned it on here in St. Louis to find a place and the Garmin thought I was still in Columbia 👎

dd, when's orientation?

(esp. for tricking cpa 😉)

I resent that! I read through enough of it before I did anything to know it was fake!! I'm not that stupid!😉

My financial aid came in this week as well. Finally got my letter yesterday, but it had already hit my account. Looking at my statement from A&M, there was a $337.25 "out of area credit." Seems they don't charge us for the rec center, health clinic, transportation fee, and something else. Also, our parking is free (and abundant), so it's like $1000/year cheaper to go to the Temple campus than the CS campus. No one ever told us that. Bonus!!😀

So when do you slackers start?? I've already been reading embryology, biochem, and all about the pectoral region and the thorax!

Not this monday, but the following, well sort of. We take care of a lot of the business stuff monday, then wednesday morning we have the whole, get together and solicited to join clubs orientation thing. I won't have a whole lot to do though, as I've taken care of mostly everything through pre-entry. Still need to get the vpn or whatever it is so I can access school stuff from home. Then whitecoat is that wednesday night.
How about yours? I thought you were starting up pretty early?

Also, our parking is free (and abundant), so it's like $1000/year cheaper to go to the Temple campus than the CS campus. No one ever told us that. Bonus!!😀

So when do you slackers start?? I've already been reading embryology, biochem, and all about the pectoral region and the thorax!

Must be nice with the parking situation. Though I do have to say I am liking not having to drive in the mornings and fight through all the traffic b.s.

And this "slacker" has already started 😛 Have you gotten a sylabus yet? I'm wondering how different your gross dissections will be compared to ours. Pre-entry we've gone through like 80% of first block, which is back shoulder, chest, upper extremeity, and thorax. Thorax wasn't much fun as we crammed four labs into one and spent last wendesday cracking open the chest wall (with the bone saw 😀), removing lungs, heart, and finding all the stuff in there.

How about yours? I thought you were starting up pretty early?

Ours is the week of Aug. 11, so same as yours. Our white coat is that Friday, the 15th.

If I would have been at Mizzou, I would have started last Monday.

Packing sucks! Leaving tomorrow!

It's also alumni weekend, and the alumni were invited to "sponsor" a whitecoat, i.e. buy one for us...but we had to buy them for ourselves, so are they going to cut us all a check or something?😕

I resent that! I read through enough of it before I did anything to know it was fake!! I'm not that stupid!😉

They make you buy your own white coats? Lame.🙄

Hmmm....you guys know me too well....need to stick to the unsuspecting...."Awwww, what a cute m&m avatar with an ice cream cone. Click...Soooonn of a gutless lemur." Actually, I think I may have gotten cpa last time....long time ago in the Tx thread.

Already gunning for that derm res, are we?

You ride the shuttle? How is it? I went ahead and put myself on the waiting list for a reserved garage spot (the one they usually have int's park in)...$170 for a year. And yeah, with 3g that iphone battery is gonna bleed.

IIRC, at U of OK they have the students at each tank have lunch with the family of their cadaver...hmmm, I dunno 'bout that haha.

Wave at that St Louis arch thingie for me on the way out haha.:luck:

I'm not sure if I believe the cadaver lunch stuff, even if it were true I would definitely not go. One of the main things in dealing with the lab stuff is to not think of the cadaver as a person.

The shuttle isn't too bad. Fairly reliable, and there'll be more times when the school year actually starts I believe. I will be getting the after hours parking we have right across from the school that's something like $30/month.

 Thingie. Will do.

Went to the boyfriend's graduation party today and met some of his extended fam... so hilarious. They all knew who I was when I came in and were like we've heard so much about you!! I sat w/ his aunt and godmother for like over 2.5 hours and talked w/ them about a bunch of stuff... they asked a lot about NY and his aunt kept saying "I'm so excited for you!"

Also got asked the dreaded "What kinda doctor do you wanna be?"... we just got over the "What school do you wanna go to?", must we immediately transition into this?

Oh so my dad cussed out the moving truck people when he picked it up today. They were headed out to get it and they were 2 minutes from the place and the truck place called and said "Mr. Lacrosse, we don't have a truck for you". So when my parents got there, they were pissed. They told my dad that even though you make a reservation (he made it a month ago!) it isn't guaranteed... and my dad said no, I called last night and they guaranteed me. So he wondered why they hadn't called a bit earlier to tell him and they said "We had to call the guy before you and we only have one phone" 🙄

So they offered my dad one of those huge furniture moving trucks and my dad was like no way I'm not driving that crap. So they finally found them a truck (bigger than we had reserved, but they gave him the same price) but it was really far from our house. My dad also made them give us 100 bucks since the gas mileage will be worse on the bigger truck. And they threw in a GPS and one of those dolly things. It was the least they could do, I guess.

I'm off tomorrow at 8 am!

And I'm off!! I just showed my boyfriend the rickroll (he didn't know what it was), kudu... priceless. Who doesn't love them some rick in the morning?

Good luck! Drive safely! Gee, we should feel special that your last thought before leaving was of us!🙄

Seriously, good luck! I'm back in Temple whacking things off a to-do list before reality hits tomorrow. The to-do list includes reading Ch. 12 of Marks' biochem and reviewing the notes for anatomy!:scared: But, it also includes hanging blinds (done!), baking cookies, and cleaning the house (yuck!)

G'luck, have a safe drive! 🙂

😆 Forgive me cpa, I'm a child at heart, with the sense of humor to go along 😛

Haha I'm honored, although I'm a little surprised he didn't dump you right there after the Astley Attack. Lets hope the roommate works out ok.

You'll do fine, good luck tomorrow! And remember the first rule of med school...don't read the textbooks!!!🙂

Has anyone scored their steth yet?

Thanks! I'm mostly reading the notes, though I have actually read some of the book stuffs. It's not too bad yet.

I actually scored my stethoscope at my UTMB interview last year. During lunch they were giving out t-shirts to people who correctly answered questions. I was trying to score a t-shirt for my daughter (who is safely in Guatemala) and answered a question, so they gave me a stethoscope.😱

I had to go buy the t-shirt!

Hey, kudu, watch out for yourself...you may have a hurricane in a couple of days.

Nice story...can't beat that! So how long into your first lecture did you get before you started surfing sdn:laugh:?

Yeah, just got a text from the UTMB Alert system...schools closed at noon and will be tomorrow as well. Clinics will be closed also. No evacuations planned at the moment though.

I survived Day 1. I was actually able to stay on-task during the lectures.🙂 We had some embryology, and learned about the pectoral region. We had our first anatomy lab today, too. It wasn't as bad, or even as weird, as I had feared. From what the M2s say, anatomy is great. Not there yet for me, but oh, well.

Tomorrow we start biochem, which they say is boring. We also have our first "becoming a clinician" ethics class tomorrow.

dd and kudu, stay safe!! We're hoping to at least get some rain from all this. My grass sure could use it.

So the madness begins, :meanie: haha. As for biochem my experience has always been it's extremely boring towards the beginning when all you're doing is enzyme kinetics and whatnot. The interesting stuff comes later with cellular respiration, glycolycis, etc as that's when all the clinical correlates start to come in. What are you guys starting with in gross?

How'd the storm weathering go down in galveston kudu? We had some heavy rain here early this morning, which tappered steadily off to where I can almost seen sunshine now. They even cancelled classes for it 🙄 Not that I'm complaining, our anatomy practical and lecture exam are tomorrow. I'd planned on studying most of the day, but turned out my iphone came in and I've been playing with it most of the day. The awesomeness of the thing cannot be captured by words alone 👍

If you can stay awake during embryo lectures, you're good to go👍. FYI, people have told me that online animations of embryology are very helpful for "getting" it...don't know the sites though off hand.

Haha, I've seen people on here from utsw and uth rave about their anatomy classes. Its the same at utmb, in fact it just got voted fave freshman course. I don't think anybody "likes" anatomy class, its really the profs that make it tolerable/enjoyable. I guess it takes a special breed of person to go into that field haha. They all seem to have a great sense of humor.

When I went to bed they were forecasting Galveston at the center of the path cone.... but it missed us mostly. We just got some rain and some gusty winds, but it was actually pretty pleasant haha.

UTMB starts with the breast/pectoral region. Enjoy the phone!

So anatomy practical didn't go so hot today. Lecture wasn't bad at all, but the practical killed me. I know part of it was my lack of studying, but a big part of it was that the the student tutors who put it together didn't (at least in my opinion) do a fantastic job putting the practical together. Most of the bodies had 2 structures tagged, and in a lot of cases tagged in a very ambiguous manner. We had 45 seconds at each station and more than half of that time was spent just hunting down where each structure was 😡 At least it's over, and I have my biochem exam tomorrow, and neuro on friday and I get a glorious week off! I'd say if nothing else pre-entry should really motivate me to kick some rear once things actually start.

Well, my lesson of the day was that quizzes are what they say they are going to be over, not what I think they should be over.

The anatomy quiz was all about the stuff we were supposed to have read for today, that we hadn't gone over yet. I kind of didn't read all of it because it was confusing, and I thought I'd rather have it explained before I tried to read more of it. oops.

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't been on in awhile... I'm currently in a diner by my house using their internet since we don't have it yet and won't until next week 👎

I like my house a lot, it's really cute. My parents left yesterday and my mom was balling, so it was really tough. And now I'm being a mess since my boyfriend is leaving Sunday. I didn't think it would be this hard... well, I did, but I tried not to.

Whenever I get internet next I'll check in! Oh, and kudu... I'm sparing you from the storm jokes... but dd and kudu, honestly... who gets off school for RAIN??? You guys are ridiculous 🙄

jealous much? 😛

It is pretty tough at first, I can imagine it's probably even more so for you as I knew people around here when I came back. You'll make friends really fast, as long as you aren't weird...or a douche about grades or anything in general (we have some in pre-entry that nobody likes, whole other story though). I'm sure you'll be fine though, plus you have your oos family 😉

Hey we can't help it if you chose the wrong school😎.

Poor mom....you should get a pair of webcams and use skype so she can video call ya for free.

Well, we didn't get off school for rain. For that matter, we didn't get any rain.😡 We need it desperately. I'm home in San Antonio for the weekend 🙂 and there were burned areas all along I-35. It was sad.

Ok, so anatomy is kicking my tail so far...Yikes! I apparently had a glazed look on my face yesterday as the instructor was explaining nervous tissue organization, and insisted that we go over it on the white board before I left. The glazed look was as much hunger as anything, but several other people joined me at the white board for his further explanation. Our first exam is next Monday.😱

Biochem so far is all review stuff for me, with a few additional details. The biggest problem with it is that one of the two lecturers we have had thus far is incredibly droll. There is no possible way to pay attention. Apparently last year it got to the point that almost no one came to class, and he got pretty upset to see 5 people in the room. Which is worse...to come and surf the web, or to not show up at all?😕

How did you guys not get any rain??? It was heading straight for ya'll? Watch Children of the Corn....it might offer some possible solutions to your drought probs.

Hang in there cpa. Its a marathon, not a sprint...slow and steady wins the race.

Yeah, no worries about anatomy, from the little I took so far it gets overwhelming pretty quickly, but if you are doing a little every day it sinks in a lot more than you think it does. I would highly recommend study groups once or twice a week to talk the stuff out with some peeps.

So I'm officaly done with pre-entry, somehow or another I passed, not that it matters 😛 My last official week of freedom. It's a bit scary, after being with only 30 people for the last five weeks, that I'm about to get lumped in with another 200! When do you start up kudu?
