Hey, I am a current resident of New York State but I would like to attend Optometry school out of state.
Upon arrival at the school I suppose I would file for residency and hopefully have that residency quite quickly so that I wouldn't have to pay as much to attend the school...
Anyway, I am basically really confused how all of this works.... I understand you pay about double the tuition if you are not a citizen of the state but could that be for only a term or so, being that once you are a citizen you don't need to pay double anymore? How do you even become a resident of that state??
Arhh!😕
Thanks everyone!
