How do you know when your Step 1 score has been reported and how long does it typically take to arrive by mail after being "reported"?

Check NBME site to see when it's reported, usually takes 2-3 days to get it (most get it on Friday or Saturday).

your school will be transmitted your score the same day it is released. so you can always try to find it out through them. that's what I did. the report didn't come in the mail until a week later.
