Hey y'all,

I'm currently planning my 3rd year clerkships and I'm highly interested in going into peds. Would starting off with an outpatient peds rotation be okay? I've heard from some that it's better to not start off with the speciality that you're interested in.

Also, I plan on doing OBGYN afterwards and then inpatient peds.

Thanks!

I did outpatient peds in July and ended that rotation with bronchitis, laryngitis, and AOM with a ruptured TM. Good times.
