What are some typical outsource billing rates of net revenue?

I'm not sure if this is good or not... but a friend outsources billing for 7% of collections.

Yeah, I heard something close to 8% is average. Anybody else?

8% is pretty standard. We have our own in-house billing, but that's about what we charge our billing clients.
