Sorry for the duplicate post. Recently 6 radiologists in NYC were laid off, supposedly with the jobs being sent overseas for tele-radiology. Comments?

as long as there are lawyers in the US, radiologists are safe.

in fact, i believe that with outsourcing, they may be able to read more cases in a shorter time limit and actually earn MORE then they are currently.

Rads will create an "interventional" aspect to every medical specialty dealing with imaging...ie gi and oncology....therefor they will be able to pump out procedures faster then a female cat can pump out kittens, thus enabling them to make upsurd amounts of $$$$$ and leaving the rest of the medical profession in the dust, as they are doing now.
